L.A. Mascone has always been on one side of a teacher’s desk or the other. She attended countless universities and colleges, most notably Newark State (when there was a Newark State), Seton Hall University, Rutgers, Skidmore in Saratoga Springs, Grand Canyon University (when it was a college), Arizona State, and the University of San Francisco. She holds two masters’ degrees in urban education from Seton Hall and theology from USF. She has taught on all levels, including college, in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Arizona.
She is recently retired and only now has been able to pursue her artisan dreams and writings at her own Llyndragon Studios. A frequent featured artist at the Irish Cultural Center with her paintings and fabric art, Mascone's murals have appeared in public venues and private homes. Celtic landscapes and mystic themes consume her. She shows and sells her works locally, creating special works on commission. She is 2 novels into a 7-book series: The Sacristan Mysteries.
